Effin' delicious and fresh. Why didn't I come here at the beginning of summer? Missed out for so long.
Remember your high school crush? The love of your life when you were 16? Taking a bite into the banh mi here brings me back to my first love. Oh, the crispy, satisfying hard crunch of the baguette shell. The super-fresh chopped carrots, lightly pickled cucumbers, fragrant cilantro. The mysterious but delicious vietnamese meats. The light touch of mayo. The afternote of spicy heat. OMG it was perfect.
I was ready to throw myself at the feet of the owners to apprentice myself that I too could learn the secrets of making a perfect banh mi sandwich. At $3, there is no better food in K-W. I felt more satisfied walking out of here than from a lot of AYCE sushi places. -

The best Banh Mi around! Very authentic and reasonably priced. A little hidden gem KW should be very proud to have her!

The best banh mi shops are always hole in the walls that have questionable signage and random Vietnamese ads. This is one of them - don't come for the decor, but the delicious sandwiches. I ALWAYS crave banh mi, and sandwich shops always do it best with their plethora of sauces and meats. Super tasty sandwiches, my fave being chicken satay.
Consistency is questionable depending who's making the sandwich, so if you know want something let them know (I like mine with the works). $7 minimum for debit, and sandwiches are either $3.30 or $4. But you were going to get 2 sandwiches anyway, right? -

This place just can't be beat for their prices! Although their banh mis are ridiculously cheap, they do not compromise on flavor at all. The inside of the restaurant does not look great but the focus should be on the food - fresh, meaty, saucy sandwiches. The lady behind the counter was running a one (wo)man show, she took the orders, made the sandwiches and was the cashier all at the same time. It was impressive! I ordered the spicy satay chicken ($4) and my boyfriend got the BBQ pork ($3.30) and teriyaki beef ($4). I really don't think you can go wrong with any of their choices, especially for those prices!

Wow. Amazing. This was the third time in my life I had Banh Mi and this did not disappoint.
